Important Information about Garmin Mobile 20 USA
1. The Garmin Mobile 20 GPS is part of the Universal GPS 20SM Smart Phone Cradle.
2. The GPS 20SM connects to your phone by bluetooth. This means that the GPS 20SM cradle will require power from the attached 12V Cigarette Light cable at all times for it to work. With a compatible phone cable, you can change your phone with the GPS 20SM cradle and also hear the phone audio through the speaker on the back of the cradle.
3. The GPS 20SM Cradle will need to be mounted in a location where it has a clear view of the sky to receive satellite signals.
4. There are 4 power/audio cables included with the purchase of the Mobile 20 USA. The connections are for Nokia, MiniUSB, HTC and Treo. To check if your phone is compatible, go to the Garmin Mobile Buyer's Guide Web Page
5. Even though the Pre-Loaded Mobile XT MiniSD Card comes with a SD Card Adapter, it will not work in a PDA, Laptop, Pocket PC or Blackberry unit. For the PDA, Laptop or Pocket PC device you would require the Garmin Mobile 10 Bluetooth GPS with City Navigator USA NT Mapping DVD Software. The mapping data will need to be downloaded into the units internal memory, or onto a compatible Memory Card.
