The TomTom Rider 2 exhibits an exceptional display with its 3D images and anti/glare screen making this system easy-to-see in any situation. Its high resolution, 3.5" Color TFT display is easily viewable in sunlight and even has an integrated sun visor. The TomTom Rider 2 also has a touch screen that is sensitive enough to work even while wearing gloves. The TomTom Rider 2 also comes installed with a lithium ion battery providing up to 5 hours of use away from an external power source. Providing clear and accurate voice guided directions, through the included Cardo, Bluetooth headset with over 50 voices and 30 different languages to choose from, the TomTom Rider 2 will get you from point a to point b with ease.

The TomTom Rider 2 features a 12-channel GPS internal receiver providing exceptional reception and accuracy. Choice of routing options include: fastest time, shortest distance and even an avoid toll-road option.

For individuals with GPRS Bluetooth -enabled phones, TomTom has made the TomTom Rider 2 Bluetooth enabled. This will allow you to connect via Bluetooth, your phone as well as the Rider 2, and then receive incoming phone calls through the TomTom Rider 2 with the included Bluetooth Headset. You can even contact a point-of-interest through your TomTom Rider 2’s Bluetooth interface. In addition, once connected, you will be able to connect to TomTom's server via your bluetooth enabled phone's wireless internet (Wireless internet plan required with phone provider) and receive real-time information on traffic congestions and condition as well as various other downloads available through "TomTom Plus Services".(Subscription required through TomTom).
