The Callaway uPro MX is an excellent golf GPS unit introduced in mid 2011 as a follow-up to the original uPro and uPro Go models. Included this time around is a hi-resolution, multi-gesture touchscreen display and a precise optical finger navigation system similar to a touch-screen cell phone. Both these components together allow users to navigate the vast array of features via the simple swipe of a finger. uPro MX has 25,000 preloaded courses, meaning the Callaway uPro MX can be used immediately, right out of the box with no course downloads. Callaway Golf has packed in more innovative functions that include SmartView for displaying the ideal view based on the next shot, ProMode for a TV-style video flyover, and AnyPoint for determining the exact distance between any two points on a golf course and the inclusion of actual, high-resolution aerial photography.
